Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.Opportunity:RN - Med Surg NeuroJob Details:• Work three 12-hour shifts per weekExperience, qualification, and soft skills, have you got everything required to succeed in this opportunity Find out below.• Schedule includes 2 weekends (4 shifts) per 4-week schedule• Patient ratio of 6:1 on a 20-bed neurological medical/surgical unit• Contract labor is first to float according to rotation policy• Work with IV pumps, telemetry, SCD's, continuous pulse ox machines, feeding pumps, PCA, EKG machines, bladder scanner, and iMobile communication technology• Documentation system: Meditech• Tech support available on day and night shifts with unit secretary coverage from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM• Must have active RN license and BLS certification• Required skills: Med/Surg experience, ability to prioritize care, multitask, start IVs, basic wound care, maintenance of surgical drains, nasogastric tubes, and chest tubes• Expected to provide attentive and compassionate care with bedside shift reports and patient/family engagement• Dress code: Navy scrubs (tops and bottoms)Facility:This healthcare facility is a Comprehensive Stroke Center, ACS Verified Level II Trauma Center, and Certified Chest Pain Center.
