About the Role: This is a part time seasonal position. We are seeking a part-time seasonal HR Assistant to support our Human Resources department in daily administrative tasks and HR functions during our busy season (October - January). The HR Assistant will play a key role in maintaining employee records, assisting with recruitment, supporting onboarding processes, and ensuring compliance with company policies and labor laws.Qualifications, skills, and all relevant experience needed for this role can be found in the full description below.Responsibilities:Assist with the recruitment process, including posting job openings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR databases.Support the onboarding including preparation of orientation materials and coordination of welcome sessions.Support offboarding processes including exit documentation, final paperwork, and transition processing.Assist in preparing HR-related documents, such as employment letters, performance evaluations, and disciplinary notices.Respond to internal and external HR-related inquiries or requests and provide assistance.Help organize and coordinate HR projects, events, and training sessions.Ensure the confidentiality of HR data and employee information.Support payroll and benefits administration as needed.Maintain office policies and procedures, and suggest improvements where necessary.Support office administration duties including ordering supplies, coordinating team-building activities as directed.Qualifications:Associate's or Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.1-2 years of previous experience in an administrative or HR support role preferred.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).Familiarity with HR software or systems is a plus.Excellent organizational and time-management skills.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.Must be available for in office work three days per week near Howard Hughes CenterRequired Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, excellent organizational skills, strong communication skills.Preferred Skills: Familiarity with HR software or systems.Pay range and compensation package: Competitive pay based on experience.Equal Opportunity Statement: We are committed to diversity and inclusivity in our hiring practices and encourage all qualified candidates to apply.
