Title: Commercial Lines Insurance, Team Leader - Real Estate Practice Location: Manhattan, NY (2-3x a week in office)Salary: $200,000k - $230,000k (dependent upon experience) + bonus and excellent benefits package The full job description covers all associated skills, previous experience, and any qualifications that applicants are expected to have.Our client, a National Property & Casualty Insurance Broker is seeking an experienced Sr. Commercial Lines Team Leader - Real Estate Practice, to join their growing team. Position will be based out of their Midtown Manhattan office and will require you to go into the office 2-3x a week. This position is open due to growth and the ideal individual will have experience managing a multimillion-dollar book of business, managing the pre & post renewal cycle, and overseeing a team of roughly 4 Account Executives. Responsibilities: Manage 5-8 large, complex Commercial Lines insurance accounts as the day-to-day client contactActivities include new and renewal marketing, fielding questions and requests and coverage reviewHandling all aspects of the account life cycle; pre-renewal, renewal, post renewal, and stewardship meetings Provide proactive, personalized support to assigned high-touch, complex Commercial Lines clientsProvide insurance technical expertise to clients and members of the Account Management and Sales Executive teamResponsible for marketing and placement of client Commercial Lines insurance renewalsDetermine most-appropriate carriers for market pricingAnalyze and compare carrier quotes and coverage offeringsMake insurance program recommendations to clientsManage client renewal expirations and avoid any lapse in coverageComplex negotiation with carriers on behalf of clientsProcess policies, endorsements and audits as neededChampion client cross-selling initiatives and develop customer accountsDelegate administrative client tasks to assigned Account RepresentativesRespond to underwriters' questions in a timely and professional mannerMaintain a high degree of accuracy in agency management systemsFrequent in-person attendance at face-to-face client meetings, with and without Sales ExecutivesRegular carrier interaction and frequent face-to-face meetings with underwritersQualifications:MUST have an active Property & Casualty license (REQUIRED)Bachelor's Degree (strongly preferred)Extensive Casualty experience7-10+ years of Commercial Lines Account Management experienceThe specific compensation for this role will be determined based on the education, experience, location and skill set of the individual selected for this position.SolomonEdwardsGroup, LLC is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
