The typical role is responsible for daily coordination of purchase transaction activities that help ensure goods and services are procured in support of business operations.Duties and Responsibilities: These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive and other duties may be assignedProcess purchase order defers, expedites, cancellationsRun reports for unacknowledged orders and past due order managementReview supplier portal and update/change purchase order data/information as requiredRun reports for purchase order activities and communicate with internal team and stakeholdersReview and coordinate daily supply chain email communicationsCoordinate advanced shipping notification processInterface with supplier on purchase order activity, invoice processingUpdate ERP system with purchase order informationCoordinate with materials to disposition supplier receiving issues and supplier returnsRequirements:1-Must have advance Excell experience: pivot tables, v-lookup and will be working with a lot of data. This position will be working with a large volume of data in Excell and manipulating it.2-Must be detailed oriented. Errors in reporting can cause a huge impact.Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or GEDOne (1) year of relevant experience. Proficiency with various web-based software applications including Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, etc.Preferred Qualifications: Associate degree in Business, Purchasing, Supply Chain, or a related fieldPurchasing experience within the manufacturing industryAbility to effectively communicateAbility to work in a team environmentOrganizational skills with exceptional follow through and attention to detailAbility to work in a fast-paced environment where requirements are constantly changingExperience with various web-based software applications including Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, etc.
