Paralegal

Hire Counsel is seeking a paralegal to work with the federal government in Texarkana, AR. Must be able to obtain and maintain an MRPT security clearance.Please read the following job description thoroughly to ensure you are the right fit for this role before applying.Responsibilities Include:Working with multiple Assistant United States AttorneysExamining, preparing, and processing a variety of technical legal documentsAssembling trial exhibits, affidavits, discovery in various formats, etc.Assembling and organizing files and records for disposition or transfer to records depositoryMaintaining calendar of assigned active casesTracking filing, hearing, and trial dates; scheduling conferences and interviewsArranging travel by preparing itinerary and securing transportation and hotel reservationsProject Details:Anticipated start date: Upon successful completion of interview process and obtaining MRPT security clearanceEstimated duration: 1+ yearHours: 40 hours per week, 8 hours per dayLocation: Onsite in Texarkana, ARPay rate: $26.66/hr ($21.73 base + 4.93 H&W)Qualifications:Required: Paralegal certificate or currently attending an ABA accredited law school and having completed at least 1 year of studyRequired: at least 1 year of litigation paralegal experiencePrior experience with Relativity or other e-Discovery platforms requiredNo concurrent document review permitted while working with Hire CounselMust be a US CitizenMust be able to obtain and maintain an active MRPT security clearanceWhy join Hire Counsel?Hire Counsel works exclusively with the legal sector and is recognized as a national leader in legal staffing.
