Compliance Technician

The HT Group is seeking a Contract Compliance Technician for a 4 to 6-month contract assignment based in Baytown, TX. Must be able to work on site - **NO PER DIEM** and must be authorized to work without sponsorship.Remember to check your CV before applying Also, ensure you read through all the requirements related to this role.The schedule will be Monday-Thursday or Monday-Friday, with a possible 7am start time (to be confirmed). The pay rate starts at $28+hr DOE. Overtime may be required or expected.Responsibilities:**NO PER DIEM*Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and provide LPS/LPO feedbackReview and update Job Safety Analyses (JSA) as neededOrder and manage safety equipment and materialsMaintain and update Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and approved chemical listsReport all safety incidents and conduct investigations, including RCAConduct regular safety walks and quality reviews of safety proceduresAssist and coach site safety personnel and enforce safety protocolsMaintain safety records and documentation for complianceAttend and contribute to safety and stewardship meetingsParticipate in training and ensure adherence to safety policiesExhibit strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent customer serviceWork independently to ensure tasks are completed safely and on timeQualifications:Previous experience working inside a plant environmentStrong professional communication and interpersonal skillsProficient in Microsoft Office and accurate record-keepingAbility to multitask and work independentlyHealth, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE) knowledge with a degree or trade school background preferredActive TWIC card requiredMust complete ISTC and DISA training prior to starting** If you meet the above requirements, please submit your resume over for immediate consideration. **#SETX
