This is an ideal opportunity for experienced ER nurses seeking travel nursing jobs in Washington State.Job Details - ER RN Travel AssignmentLocation: Kent, Washington (98042) - Seattle metro areaFacility: 58-bed community hospital with 19 dedicated ER roomsAssignment Type: Travel Nursing - Emergency DepartmentStart Date: October 20, 2025End Date: January 17, 2026Contract Duration: 13 weeksGuaranteed Hours: 36 hours per weekShift: 12-hour rotating shifts (days, mids, evenings, nights, variable)Scrub Color: Royal or Navy Blue (black pants permitted)Estimated Weekly Salary: $1,880 - $2,020Registered Nurse QualificationsMinimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department RN experience (first-time travelers considered with 4+ years ED experience)Active Registered Nurse license (WA state or compact license)Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, MOAB/CPI, NIHSS, NRP, PALS (ENPC not accepted)Clinical proficiency in cardiac rhythm interpretation, IV therapy, ED medication administration, conscious sedation, blood administration, cardiac medications, code blue response, chest tube management, central line setup (A-lines, CVP), ventilator management, and stabilization of high acuity patientsEpic charting experience preferredEmergency Room Nurse ResponsibilitiesProvide high-quality emergency nursing care to patients of all ages, from neonates to geriatricsAssess, stabilize, and prepare high acuity and complex patients for transfer to higher-level care facilitiesRespond to trauma cases (falls, gunshot wounds, motor vehicle accidents), sepsis, COVID-19, STEMI, stroke, diabetic ketoacidosis, respiratory and cardiac emergencies, neurological issues, and mental health crisesParticipate in mock drills and ongoing education for rare emergency deliveries and patient transfersFloat as needed to other units or locations (upstairs as nurse extender or Auburn campus)Utilize Epic EMR, Alaris pumps, Pyxis medication system, and central/bedside telemetry monitoringTake your emergency nursing career to the next level with this travel RN job in Kent, Washington.
