Process Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities:Check below to see if you have what is needed for this opportunity, and if so, make an application asap.Performs preventative maintenance and repairs on process equipment, such as bioreactors, centrifuges, ultrafiltration skids, parts washers, autoclaves, pumps, isolators, and fillersProvides recommendations to develop preventative maintenance plans to minimize equipment downtimeContributes to Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) development and revisions for process maintenance related activitiesDiagnoses and troubleshoots equipment malfunctionsAssists in the installation and commissioning of new equipmentMaintains accurate maintenance records and documentationFollows standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure compliance with safety and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) quality standardsAdheres to all safety requirements and follows safe work practicesNotifies management or Environmental, Health & Safety when unsafe conditions or hazards are foundAttends all required safety and health trainingSupports site operations and emergency work orders during off-hours, as neededPerforms spare parts assessments, as requiredOther duties, as assignedRequirements:Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and control systemsKnowledge of GMP requirementsEffective communication, both written and oralAbility to work in a team environmentKnowledge of lean manufacturing principlesStrong problem-solving and time management skillsAbility to train and mentor othersExperience with pump maintenance (centrifugal, peristaltic, hydraulic, rotary, etc)
