Job Description

Performs advanced, specialized or prototype production assembly operations on structural parts, mechanical assemblies and subassemblies using automated assembly operations. May provide assembly operation guidance to other assemblers.Make sure to apply with all the requested information, as laid out in the job overview below.Required Skills:3-5 years airplane experiencePer diem is authorized to the amount of $600.00/week (candidates must be eligible for per diem - must be maintaining 2 households at least 75 miles apart)Physical Requirements:1. Physically capable of working in a factory production environment which includes sitting, walking, bending, kneeling, stair climbing, climbing ladders, gripping, squeezing, and operating hand and power tools2. Ability to stand for extended periods of time, and work in elevated and/or confined spaces as required.3. Lift up to 35 pounds without assistance (Occasional lifting of 21-35 pounds), grip, squeeze, bend and twist at the waist, walk, crawl, crouch, stand for long periods, kneel, reach, climb/balance, flexion/extension4. Contact with sealants and solvents, exposure to noise, working on elevated platforms6. Handle, use, and dispose of hazardous material7. Occasional (1 to 3 hrs) finger manipulation8. On occasion, a 2-person lift may be necessary for weights greater than 35 lbs9. Frequent reaching overhead (3 to 6 hrs)10. Frequent walking on flat surfaces11. Frequent standing flat or uneven surfaces12. Frequent balancing on a ladder, steps, or uneven surfaces13. Occasional climbing on 3-12 ft ladders or stands14. Rotation of head/neck, sitting, crawling, squatting, bend/stoop, lying down, and operate foot controls15. Occasional contact with metals16. Exposure to plastics and solvents to atmospheric conditions17. Frequent exposure to noise
