This position drives performance across safety, quality, delivery, cost, and employee engagement, ensuring that all operational goals are met or exceeded. With a strong command of lean manufacturing principles and a deep understanding of automotive industry standards, the Operations Manager leads with a continuous improvement mindset to maximize productivity, streamline processes, and support long-term business objectives. This role requires a dynamic leader capable of building high-performing teams, managing complexity, and delivering results in a fast-paced, customer-driven environment.Essential Job Functions: Lead a culture of Safety within the workplaceImprove operational management systems, processes and best practicesHold the plant accountable for standard operational and working practices and observe workers to ensure compliance with standardsIdentify potential problems and points of friction and find solutions to maximize efficiency and revenueDrive operational excellence and process optimizationFormulate strategic and operational objectivesExamine financial data and use them to improve profitabilityManage budgets and forecastsPerform quality controls and monitor production KPIsProvide leadership, management, and motivation to attain high levels of employee achievement and retentionEstablish and maintain a well-motivated team including training, supporting and developing each team memberCoordinate different teams to foster an exchange of ideas and provide cross-team learning opportunitiesDrive the performance process and professional development of all Management level personnel within the teamFind ways to increase quality of customer serviceOther duties as assignedQualifications: Progressive experience managing operations and teamsKnowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations managementExperience budgeting and forecastingFamiliarity with business and financial principlesExcellent communication skillsLeadership abilityOutstanding organizational skills10 years of people management experienceEducation: Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Manufacturing, Engineering, related fields, or equivalent experience
