Description:Find out more about this role by reading the information below, then apply to be considered.  Position SummaryThe leasing consultant's focus is to assure that leasing, marketing, and customer service goals are met for the property. The leasing consultant is 100% customer-facing. The primary responsibilities of the leasing consultant are to generate traffic, lease units, and provide exceptional customer service to our residents Pay$19.00.Ongoing Essential DutiesUtilizes property management software to manage incoming leads, responds quickly, and follows up on scheduleIs knowledgeable regarding availability of units, pricing, and property information relevant to new prospectsStrives to meet and exceed occupancy goalsIs familiar with Fair Housing Regulations and performs all tasks accordinglyMaintains a working knowledge of the local community, including local schools, business, and eventsParticipates in planning and hosting resident appreciation events and constantly works to engender a sense of community among residentsPerforms opening tasks, including checking on the readiness of the model or show units, the tour paths, and the community amenitiesServes as a first point of contact for residents, works to resolve any issues or complaints.Quickly returns missed phone calls and stays current with all follow-ups for leads and prospectsQuickly escalates any customer service issues to site management when support is neededCommunicates effectively to site management and maintenance team to resolve any noticed issuesEnthusiastically embraces the company culture, provides a welcoming environment for residents and guests, demonstrates our drive to maintain the highest of standards, and provides the best possible experience for everyone on siteEnthusiastically greets each person who enters the officeApproaches each situation in a friendly and helpful mannerMaintains a pleasant, professional, and cheerful presence at all timesAlways presents a professional appearance and follows established dress code policyStrives to learn the assistant community manager's role and can fill in for the assistant community manager when needed.Other duties as assignedRequirements: Required Skills/Abilities:Basic computer knowledge including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and OutlookExperience in social media and technologyProficiency in converting phone calls to appointments and appointments to leases (Sales)Ability to act independently and make decisionsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsFlexibility to work weekends, overtime, and other unscheduled times as requiredSupervisory Responsibilities:This position does not have supervisory responsibilitiesEducation and Experience:Customer service experienceAt least 6 months experience in the apartment, leasing, or hospitality industry preferredHigh school diploma or equivalent combination of education requiredPhysical Requirements:Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.PI6e93c130906d-36310-38791053
