Maintenance Technician

 MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN We are currently looking for a Maintenance Technician on 2nd shift (2:00pm-10:00pm Mondays-Fridays)Please read the following job description thoroughly to ensure you are the right fit for this role before applying.The Maintenance Technician  directly assists Operations with ongoing projects, performs duties relating to our equipment as asked, as well as lend support to the production department on training of procedures. In addition to being an individual contributor, this person will also be asked to assist other Operations personnel as needed. This person will be expected to interact and coordinate with Cameron's Quality Systems and adhere to FDA, MDA, GMP, and SQF regulations. RESPONSIBILITIESTroubleshoot and perform equipment repair and maintenance as needed. Troubleshoot basic electrical issues as needed (high and low voltage).Assist in tracking spare part usage. Communicate needs in parts, tooling, and consumables.  Assist in maintaining maintenance documents and databases.Assist in equipment installations, operations, and process qualifications.Willingness to champion other activities as requested by Operations and Cameron's leadership.Ability to demonstrate creativity, innovation, and willingness to experiment with new ideas or designsEmployees are responsible for maintaining an awareness of workplace safety and maintaining an awareness of training or education that will assist them in improving needed areas of their present job performance. Assist in providing training and guidance to plant personnel as needed Execute corrective, scheduled, and preventative maintenance activities and record findings/time/parts used in SAP softwareAdditional duties as assigned.EXPERIENCE REQUIREDPreferably vocational school training or relevant work experience of 2 years+.Good mechanical troubleshooting/repair skills needed. Good analytical, written, and verbal communication skills needed.Experience working with form, fill and seal packaging equipment a plus Experience working with coffee roasting/grinding equipment a plusKnowledge and understanding of PLC controlled equipment a plusExperience working with natural gas burner/roaster/dryer/oxidizer/HVAC equipment a plusExperience with Work Order/Preventative Maintenance tracking software is desired, experience with SAP specifically is a plusReading and understanding electrical drawings, ladder diagrams and blueprints are a plus. Ability to work in a team environment and be reasonably self-directed. Must be able to sit/stand for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift 25 pounds.SKILLS NEEDEDBasic knowledge and use of PCs and Microsoft Office software (Outlook).Experience working with natural gas burner/roaster/dryer/oxidizer/HVAC equipment a plus Maintenance welding is a plus but not required.ADDITIONAL DETAILSBENEFITS INCLUDE:Health, Dental and Life InsurancePaid Time Off401K MatchREPORTING RELATIONSHIPS:  This role will report to the maintenance supervisor.LOCATION: Corporate Headquarters located in Shakopee, MN.WORK ENVIRONMENT The noise level is high.
