*Job Summary*Making sure you fit the guidelines as an applicant for this role is essential, please read the below carefully.Marco Crawford Law PLLC is a growing Personal Injury law firm seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Pre-Litigation Personal Injury Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in personal injury law and possess excellent management, communication and negotiation skills. This position is a Salary plus a commission.Key qualifications include a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree, active bar admission, strong negotiation. communication skills, and familiarity with case management software.This role involves assisting clients in various aspects of their personal injury case, including management of our Prelitigation Department and client communication. The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced law office environment and be committed to providing exceptional support to our clients.*Responsibilities** The Pre-Litigation Personal Injury Attorney will manage Pre-Litigation staff working on personal injury cases from intake to settlement, which involves investigating claims, gathering evidence, calculating case value, drafting legal documents like demand letters and lawsuits, negotiating with insurance adjusters to resolve claims before filing a lawsuit, and communicating with clients about case progress.* *Case Management:* Overseeing Pre-Litigation Staff for personal injury cases from the initial client intake through to settlement.Required Skills and Qualifications* *Education:* A Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.* *Bar Admission:* An active and valid license to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.* *Experience:* Proven experience in managing personal injury cases from the plaintiff's side, potentially requiring at least 2 years of experience in management.* *Communication:* Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with clients, opposing counsel, and insurance adjusters.* *Negotiation:* Strong negotiation and advocacy skills to secure settlements.* *Analytical Skills:* The ability to think critically, analyze complex information, and develop effective legal strategies.* *Technical Skills:* Proficiency with legal research tools and firm-specific case management software.* *Investigation & Evidence Gathering:* Collecting crucial evidence, such as requesting and reviewing medical records, bills, and other documentation.* *Legal Research:* Conducting legal research to understand case law, identify relevant parties, and build persuasive legal arguments.* *Client Communication:* Keeping clients informed of their case status, educating them on the legal process, and setting appropriate expectations.* *Document Drafting:* Preparing various legal documents, including demand letters, complaints, and lawsuits.* *Negotiation:* Engaging with insurance adjusters and opposing counsel to negotiate favorable settlements on behalf of the client.* *Case Valuation:* Calculating the value of a personal injury claim to determine appropriate compensation.* *Collaboration:* Working with case managers, intake specialists medical record specialists and other support staff to organize case files and gather necessary information.*Qualifications** Proven experience as a Pre-Litigation Attorney , preferably in personal injury law.* Strong knowledge of legal terminology, procedures, and documentation processes.* Proficiency in legal research tools and Microsoft Office Suite.* Excellent writing skills with the ability to draft clear and concise legal documents.* Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.* Familiarity with litigation processes and court rules is essential.* Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated to complete tasks independently.Job Type: Full-timeProjected Total Compensation: $85,000.00 - $150,000.00 per yearBenefits:* Dental insurance* Health insurance* Life insurance* Paid time off* Vision insuranceLicense/Certification:* Texas State Bar License (Required)Work Location: In person
