You will provide technical support to our customers and continue to learn about cutting-edge tooling technology.Why this job?$29.50 - $32.00/hour starting hourly rate - plus incentivesExcellent Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance - Day 1 of Employment401k with MatchGenerous Paid Time OffOngoing technical training provided8 AM - 5 PM - Monday - Friday (IN OFFICE - NO HYBRID)ResponsibilitiesServe as a technical advisor to customers by researching solutions, recommending appropriate products, providing accurate quotes, and verifying pricing and availability.Assist customers in identifying the most effective and cost-efficient Tooling solutions, leveraging current promotions, suggesting complementary items, and prioritizing in-stock options.Support outside sales representatives by preparing detailed tooling quotes and checking stock availability.Collaborate with the purchasing team to recommend items for stocking or discontinuation based on customer demand and usage trends.Utilize and support the administration of order automation software to streamline quoting and order entry processes.Help resolve pricing discrepancies, product availability issues, and open orders in a timely and professional manner.Participate in ongoing tooling and product training sessions to stay up to date on product developments, new releases, and industry trends.Perform additional duties and responsibilities as required, contributing to the overall success of the team and company.Do you have the following skills, experience and drive to succeed in this role Find out below.RequirementsTechnical Expertise - Solid understanding of machining materials, processes, and tooling - typically acquired through a 2-year technical degree or certificate in Machine Technology, or a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in a machine shop environment, including CNC operation, job setup, and tooling application.Customer Service & Communication - Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate professionally, clearly, and tactfully with customers, vendors, and internal teams.Consultative Sales Ability - Skilled in identifying customer needs and providing value-added tooling recommendations, including alternative solutions that optimize performance and cost.Organization - Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively, with strong follow-through and attention to detail.Computer Proficiency - Comfortable using business software systems and data entry tools; ability to quickly learn and utilize order entry and automation platforms.Why our company?Productivity, Inc. is known for its impressive customer service and integrity within our industry.
