We offer a comprehensive benefit package that includes a great pay plan, medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), STD, LTD, Life Insurance, paid vacations and an employee car purchase program.Any additional information you require for this job can be found in the below text Make sure to read thoroughly, then apply.The following are the essential functions of an Automotive Technician at Braman Motorcars:ï‚· Diagnose conditions using manufacture's special diagnostic equipment, electronic scanners, and test instruments.ï‚· Perform all diagnostic exclusively using the manufacture's Guided Fault Finding(GFF) procedures.ï‚· Record all such steps electronically as required by the manufacturer, including but not limited to any readings, measurements and fault codes.ï‚· Prepare and submit paper documentation as required by manufacturer.ï‚· Perform both mechanical and electronic adjustments to components as necessary.ï‚· Disassemble engines, transmissions and other mechanical components to repair or replace defective/worn parts.ï‚· Diagnose, repair, replace or adjust sub-assemblies such as steering, suspension system and brake system components.ï‚· Diagnose repair, replace or adjust electronic components such as sensors, motors and control modules.ï‚· Replace cosmetic assemblies such as convertible canvas tops and seat cushions/covers.ï‚· Replace windshieldsï‚· Be familiar with factory recommended maintenance schedules.ï‚· Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on vehicles.ï‚· Maintain applicable licenses and certifications as required by the State of Florida.ï‚· Maintain factory training certifications as required by the vehicle manufacturer.ï‚· Purchase and maintain all hand and power tools required to perform all duties as an automotive technician.ï‚· Clean and maintain work area.ï‚· Effectively communicate with other dealership personnel.ï‚· A technician must be able to get in and out of carsï‚· Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 poundsMinimum of 5 years' experience requiredASE Certifications requiredï‚· Job requires stooping, bending, laying on back, crawling, reaching, lifting, pushing and pulling to perform the essential functions.Job Type: Full-timeBenefits:* 401(k)* Employee discount* Health insurance* Professional development assistanceApplication Question(s):* Are you a certified BMW Master Technician?
