(WMI), an award winning producer of commercial grade lawn equipment, is looking to add a Warehouse Material Handler/ Inventory Associate to our Internal Logistics Team.This is a full-time, non-exempt position, earning overtime at time and one half for hours worked over 40 hours per week. Schedule is typically Monday through Friday 6:00am - 2:30pm. Occasional work on Saturdays may be needed as work flows dictate.  *Opportunity for overtime is available but not guaranteed Primary Duties to include:· Pick and transport all required material from warehouse racks around the Plant and supply various assembly line stations to support the production of our products; using utility carts, specialty product carts, platform trucks, etc. to move product from place to place.· Crosstrain to learn other assembly lines and duties, in addition to your main zone, in order to help provide emergency coverage.· Alert Inventory Control of any low inventory items/ issues with delivery systems, and work together to form a plan of action to support assembly.· Assist in all FIFO inventory processes.· Assist in all 5S Lean Methodology (Sort, Straighten, Shine, Standardize, and Sustain)· Assist with special projects and rework as necessary.· Maintain a mindset of continuous improvement; Contribute to and participate in Kaizen projects to improve Safety, Quality, Productivity, and Cost.Requirements: Qualified candidates for the role of Warehouse Material Handler/ Inventory Associate should be able to demonstrate:• Strong attention to detail• Consistent work history• Ability to work in an environment that is not climate controlled• Ability to work in a moderate to high noise level environment• Excellent attendance record• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds without assistance• Positive, team player attitude• Strong, independent work ethic• Good organizational skills WMI is committed to cross-training and inter-department personnel movements.
