This is a flexible, project-based role ideal for an experienced attorney who enjoys independence while contributing meaningfully to client outcomes.Responsibilities* Handle assigned family law cases and tasks on a contract basis* Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and settlement agreements* Conduct legal research and prepare filings* Respond to and organize discovery* Represent clients in hearings, mediations, and negotiations (as needed and agreed per engagement)* Maintain professional, timely communication with clients and supervising attorneyQualifications* J.D. from an accredited law school* Licensed and in good standing to practice law in SC* Minimum 2 years of experience in family law preferred* Strong written, research, and oral advocacy skills* Ability to work independently and manage deadlines reliablyCompensation & Structure* Contract position (1099)* Compensation on an hourly or per-project basis, commensurate with experience* Flexible workload and schedulingJob Types: Full-time, ContractPay: $35.00 - $70.00 per hourExpected hours: 30 - 50 per weekWork Location: In person
