This means regularly managing multiple events to include breakfast, lunch and other functions meeting client expectations with 100% accuracy and timeliness. The position is required to ensure client and customer satisfaction as well as client and company financial objectives. Job Qualifications:4 to 8 years of high volume catering management experience in corporate dining setting, hotels or high-end hospitality industry venues.Exemplary attention to detail in executing and delivering events to exact specifications. Prior experience with Cater Trax or similar program is a plus.Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills required, as well as the ability to manage multiple events and build rapport with the client.Two-year Associate's degree in Culinary Operations or Hospitality degree preferred.Ability to lift and move food, food containers and other non-food items weighing up to approximately 35 pounds from floor position to no higher than one's own height.Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.Job Responsibilities and Essential Duties:Manage, oversee and monitor multiple events, including breakfasts, luncheons, dinners, receptions, happy hours and campus-wide special events. Accurately coordinate orders and deliveries in a timely manner for set-up and breakdown of events. Ensure supplies are ready 24 hours in advance, whenever possible. Take Inventory of catering supplies and order new stock weekly as needed. Ensure proper presentation, portion control, and maintenance of proper serving temperatures - follow HACCP standards.Deliver, set-up and remove foods according to event layout and schedule.Communicate regularly with the staff and manage the team to ensure delivery of quality product and service. Creative a positive team environment.Represent the company in a professional, courteous and friendly manner in all client and employee interactions. Responsible for presentation of food on designated plates to create an attractive, inviting display.Deliver budgeted financial results and manage the budget. Demonstrate exemplary customer service skills.Manage, train, coach and counseling staff.This position may be called upon to perform other jobs as determined by the management team.
