Tampa - Maintenance TechnicianInterested in learning more about this job Scroll down and find out what skills, experience and educational qualifications are needed.Maintenance TechnicianLocation: Tampa, FL | Fully Integrated PlantPay: Starting at $32/hr + $1 shift premium for 3rd shiftTraining pay begins on 1st shift (minimum of 3 weeks)Eligible for annual increases and quarterly bonuses (up to 5% of annual pay)Overtime available and required as neededShifts Available:3rd: Sunday-Thursday, 10:30 PM - 7:00 AM2nd: Monday-Friday, 2:30 PM - 11:00 PMWhat We OfferHealth, dental, and vision insurance401k with company matchPaid vacation + 13 paid holidaysAnnual performance bonusFitness reimbursement & employee battery programPPE and uniforms providedRecognition programsJob ResponsibilitiesEmphasize safe work practices, including lockout/tagout (LOTO) and PPE complianceTroubleshoot and repair machinery, conveyors, robotics, and plant systemsDiagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test, and adjust equipmentWork with 120V, 208V, and 480V AC circuits; motor controls, VFDs, and soft startsPerform preventive maintenance to maximize uptime and reliabilityOperate machine shop tools as needed (lathe, milling machine, drill press, grinders, saws, welders, etc.)Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, equipment manuals, and work ordersPerform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repairQualifications2+ years industrial maintenance experience requiredHigh school diploma or equivalent preferredStrong knowledge of mechanical and electrical repair, hydraulics, and pneumaticsExperience with 480V electrical systems, VFDs, and motor controlsPLC troubleshooting experience preferredAbility to read technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and blueprintsAble to lift up to 50 lbs., bend, stoop, and work overtime/weekends as requiredAbout the PlantThe Tampa, FL plant has been operating since 1958 and employs more than 280 people. As a fully integrated facility, we manufacture and decorate batteries for automotive, marine, motorcycle, and heavy-duty truck applications.
