*Drywall Superintendent*If you are considering sending an application, make sure to hit the apply button below after reading through the entire description.Atlantic Interior Services, Inc. is seeking a qualified Drywall/Stucco Superintendent in the South Florida area.*Position Requirements*:* *Minimum of ten years of experience in the Installation and Supervision of Metal Framing & Drywall, Stucco & ACT.** *Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) preferred** *Able to work nights & weekends when needed** *Managing field staff to ensure quality and productivity on projects** *Adherence to and responsibility for company safety program** *Ability to read blueprints (ability to Layout preferred, but not required)**Essential Duties and Responsibilities: *Include the following but other duties may be assigned:* Proven experience in construction management with a strong understanding of project scheduling, site operations and quality control* Excellent management abilities with a track record of supervising teams effectively* Must be able to read/understand blueprints and the job field kit* Superintendent must be able to coordinate with other trades and the GC in order to maintain the project schedule for multiple projects* Must be able to build and maintain project labor to complete project schedule* Order necessary materials from purchasing agent* Hold necessary/required on-site meetings with subcontractors and in-house labor* Keep all necessary job records required by AIS and the customer* Must be able to verify quantities and hours for labor payment* Have a working relationship with other foremen / superintends of the customers and subcontractors* Must be able to document the changes and send field RFI's* Must be resourceful and self-reliant to overcome job site obstacles* Have OSHA certification for using equipment (boom and scissor lift) or tools* Must be a "competent person" for the purpose of inspecting scaffolds (OSHA certified)* Must have completed the OSHA 30-hour safety course*Supervisory Responsibilities:*Directly supervises field employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include but are not limited to, training employees, planning, assigning, and directing work, appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.*Qualifications: *To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
