Seasoned Personal Injury Litigation Attorney

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in handling complex personal injury cases from intake through trial or settlement. This role requires excellent litigation, negotiation, and client advocacy skills, with a proven track record of favorable case results.*Key Responsibilities:** Manage a full caseload of personal injury matters, including auto accidents, premises liability, nursing home negligence, Medical Malpractice, and wrongful death claims.* Conduct all aspects of litigation, including pleadings, motions, discovery, depositions, court appearances, mediations, and trial.* Develop case strategies, evaluate settlement value, and provide legal counsel to clients on their rights and legal options.* Lead and supervise paralegals, legal assistants, and support staff in case preparation and management.* Engage in settlement negotiations with opposing counsel and insurance companies.* Represent clients in state and federal courts, arbitration proceedings, and mediations.* Draft and review legal documents, including complaints, motions, discovery responses, and trial briefs.* Maintain regular communication with clients to ensure high-quality service and legal guidance.* Stay current with relevant laws, court decisions, and industry trends affecting personal injury litigation.*Qualifications:** Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.* Active license to practice law in New Mexico and in good standing.* Minimum of 5 years of experience in personal injury litigation.* Proven trial experience with a track record of successful outcomes.* Excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.* Strong negotiation and analytical skills.* Ability to manage high-volume caseloads while delivering quality results.* Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize effectively.* Client-focused with a commitment to ethical legal practice.*Preferred:** Bilingual abilities (e.g., Spanish) a plus.* Experience with case management software (e.g., Clio, Smart Advocate).*Compensation & Benefits:** Competitive base salary plus performance-based bonuses.* Health, and dental* 401(k) with employer match.* Continuing legal education (CLE) support.* Paid time off and holidays.* Opportunities for career advancement.* Opportunities for bonuses based upon firm performanceJob Type: Full-timePay: $100,000.00 - $200,000.00 per yearBenefits:* 401(k) matching* Dental insurance* Health insurance* Paid time offAbility to Commute:* Albuquerque, NM 87102 (Required)Ability to Relocate:* Albuquerque, NM 87102: Relocate before starting work (Required)Work Location: In person
