We are dedicated to helping victims of these horrible crimes heal the wounds of their abuse by empowering them through the legal process.*Role Description*We are seeking a full-time, Docketing Paralegal based in California to join our team at Herman Law. In this role, you will be responsible for the timely and accurate filing of legal documents, managing case-related deadlines, and ensuring that all filings are properly documented and organized within our case management system. Your day-to-day tasks will include calendaring court dates, tracking motion dates, and monitoring case documents for accuracy. You will also be responsible for preparing legal correspondence and maintaining a smooth flow of case information. A keen eye for detail, organizational excellence, and experience with California civil procedures are key to success in this role as you assist in representing victims of sexual abuse.We offer a competitive salary and complete benefits package, combined with a great working environment.*Qualifications** 5+ years of experience with civil calendaring programs and managing legal deadlines, specifically tracking trial and motion dates* 5+ years of experience in docketing or legal records management* Proficient knowledge of California Code of Civil Procedure* Experience assembling, filing, and managing legal documents in a case management software system* Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced legal team environment* Strong organizational and time management skills with a focus on attention to detail* Excellent written and verbal communication skills* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and legal case management software* Ability to interact with court clerks and other legal professionals when necessaryThis is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and experienced Docketing Paralegal to play an integral role in supporting our legal team's efforts to advocate for victims of sexual abuse.If you are selected for an interview, you will be contacted directly by our firm from *Careers@*.
