We want everyone to have the support they need, for a healthy work/life balance!/*/*/*Duties/*/*/*- Diaper changing, potty training- Following bottle, diaper, and nap schedules- Making and warming bottles- Assists and supervises children during ALL activities- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans- Provide individualized attention and support to each child based on their unique needs and abilities- Utilize various teaching methods and materials to enhance learning experiences- Monitor and assess each child's progress, documenting observations and maintaining accurate records- Completes all academy and classroom paperwork: daily notes, student accident reports, attendance reports, etc- Follows Kiddie Academy and PA state regulations on all health and safety policies and regulations- Collaborate with parents and guardians to provide regular updates on their child's development and address any concerns or questions- Foster a safe and supportive learning environment by enforcing classroom rules and promoting positive behavior management techniques- Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating classroom environment that is conducive to learning- Ensures all classroom and outdoor equipment are in good working condition and are used and maintained properly- Assists children with mealtimes and clean-up- Ensures classroom medication schedule is followed, when applicable- Attends and participates in staff meetings, academy events, and parent meetings/*/*/*Experience/*/*/*- Previous experience working with preschool-aged children in a childcare or daycare setting (1 year).-Associates or Bachelors degree, preferred- Knowledge of early childhood education principles, theories, and best practices- Strong understanding of child development milestones and the ability to adapt teaching strategies accordingly- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written- Ability to effectively manage a classroom setting while maintaining a positive and nurturing atmosphere/*/*/*Qualifications/*/*/*- Must be 18yrs, or older- U.S. work authorization, if applicable/*/*/*Certifications/*/*/*- FBI fingerprinting- NSOR- PA State Police- PA child abuse- Mandatory Reporter Training/*/*/*Benefits/*/*/*- Medical/Vision/Dental Insurance- Paid time off- Employee childcare discount- Professional development assistance- Tuition reimbursementIf you are passionate about early childhood education and making a positive impact on young lives, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding position.Kiddie Academy of Cranberry Township is an Equal Opportunity EmployerJob Type: Full-timePay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hourExpected hours: No less than 38 per weekBenefits:* 401(k)* Dental insurance* Employee discount* Flexible schedule* Health insurance* Life insurance* Paid time off* Professional development assistance* Vision insuranceLicense/Certification:* CPR Certification (Required)* Child Development Associate Certification (Preferred)Ability to Commute:* Cranberry Township, PA 16066 (Required)Work Location: In person
