As we open three additional locations across the southeast, we need a dynamic, strategic, and experienced leader to ensure operational excellence, drive growth, and maintain our high standards of customer satisfaction. The General Manager will play a key role in managing the North Charleston location, optimizing efficiency, leading teams, and driving business growth._*KEY RESPONSIBILITIES*_*Leadership & Team Management*:* Lead and manage the North Charleston location of Top Choice Plumbing, ensuring smooth operations, strong team collaboration, and a positive work environment.* Provide direct oversight and support to branch managers, field technicians, customer service staff, and office personnel.* Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous development by mentoring, coaching, and evaluating team performance.* Conduct daily morning meetings with staff outlined in GM roles procedures.*Operational Oversight*:* Oversee all daily operations, including scheduling, dispatching, estimates, customer follow-ups, inventory management, ensuring quality and efficiency at this location.* Manage employees, timecards, uniforms, truck stock, vehicle maintenance, company equipment and tools.* Monitor and enforce safety protocols, regulatory compliance, and plumbing industry standards to maintain high levels of safety and quality across all job sites, monitor GPS on all company vehicles* Be available on call when emergency arises, report to regional manager in weekly meetings.*Financial Management*:* Manage and oversee budgets, ensuring profitability and cost control, provide expense report and maintain allowable budget.* Collaborate with the Regional Manager tracking key financial metrics, including P&L, and make adjustments as necessary to meet financial targets and ensure growth.* Review and provide estimates for all projects at the North Charleston location.*Expansion & Growth ** Lead and work with Regional Manager in the expansion efforts at the North Charleston Top Choice Plumbing location in South Carolina, managing all aspects of this process, including staffing, facility setup, and operational integration.* Collaborate with executive leadership Regional Manager to define and execute growth strategies, expanding service areas, and increasing market share.* Ensure seamless integration of new technicians into the existing company infrastructure, aligning operations and maintaining consistent service quality.* Ensure all new equipment and vehicles are integrated into the company with proper staff training and working with Regional Manager.*Customer Relations & Business Development*:* Build and maintain strong relationships with key commercial clients, ensuring satisfaction, loyalty, and long-term partnerships.* Develop and implement strategies for new customer acquisition and market expansion to increase revenue across all service areas.* Address customer issues or complaints in a timely and effective manner, maintaining high standards of quality customer service.* Excellent communication is required with ALL clients and staff.*Compliance & Reporting*:* Ensure all locations comply with federal, state, and local regulations, including plumbing codes, safety standards, and environmental laws.* Generate and analyze reports on key performance indicators (KPIs), financials, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency with Regional Manager support.* Stay up-to-date with industry trends and changes in regulations, ensuring that Top Choice Plumbing remains compliant and competitive.*Qualifications:** *Education*: Bachelor's degree in Business Management, or a related field (preferred).*Experience*:* 5+ years of management experience, ideally in the plumbing service industry.* Proven success in managing full scale operations, including financial oversight, budgeting, and growth management.* Experience in project management and leading large teams in a fast-paced environment.* Strong background in commercial plumbing, service management, or related fields is a plus.*Skills*:* Exceptional leadership, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.* Strong financial acumen with experience managing P&L, budgeting, and reporting minimum of $5 million gross revenue.* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with your teams, clients, and leadership.* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and service management software (e.g., ServiceTitan, Housecall Pro, Service Channel).* Knowledge of South Carolina plumbing regulations and industry best practices.*Preferred Qualifications:** Previous experience overseeing the opening and operation of new locations or
