Senior AV & Smart Home Technician - Control4

For over 25 years we have specialized in Smart Home Integration, Custom A/V, Commercial Integration, Security, and Networking. We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Technician to join our team. This position is specific to West Michigan, with a home base in Kalamazoo, MI. This role requires extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in day-to-day installations, including all aspects of residential and commercial AV systems.If you are considering sending an application, make sure to hit the apply button below after reading through the entire description.Responsibilities* Installation of various home and commercial AV & networking equipment, including but not limited to TVs, projector systems, network equipment & wireless access points, AV racks, etc..* Set up and configure landscape audio systems for outdoor environments.* Design, install, and commission surveillance systems, ensuring optimal camera placement and functionality.* Design, install, and commission security systems, including monitoring company assignment.* Utilize advanced Control4 (C4) system knowledge to design and implement intuitive automation systems.* Customize programming based on client feedback in order to enhance the user experience with all installed systems.* Proactive communication with project managers, sales teams, and other technicians to ensure seamless project execution.Experience* Minimum 3-years experience Installing and configuring various AV equipment as noted above.* Minimum 2-years of surveillance system installation and troubleshooting.* Minimum 2-years experience with security system installation and commissioning (Quolys, Clare, ).* Minimum 2-years experience with Control4 (C4) installation and programming.* Experience with Josh.ai preferred* Experience with OvrC & OvrC Home preferred* Proficient in Lutron lighting and shading systems (RadioRA/RA2/RA3, Homeworks, etc.)* Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering high-quality service.* Strong communication and organizational skills to manage multiple installations and projects efficiently.Job Type: Full-timePay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per yearBenefits:* 401(k)* 401(k) matching* Dental insurance* Health insurance* Life insurance* Paid time off* Vision insuranceAbility to Commute:* Kalamazoo, MI 49009 (Required)Willingness to travel:* 50% (Required)Work Location: In person
