You seek out solutions to tough problems with a strong passion for doing what's right for our guests.As a Diagnostic Technician with Christian Brothers Automotive (Full or Part-Time), you leverage your diagnostic and communication skills to diagnose vehicles, mentor technicians, and coach our team of service professionals that our guests trust when they need help with their vehicles.  You are a key person that nurtures the integrity and transparency that our guests experience every time they invest in their vehicle.  You are critical to building trusting relationships with our guests through consistent and superior quality diagnoses and transparent education.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Continuously build your technician experience across a wide range of domestic and foreign vehiclesLeverage best-in-class technician resources available through Christian Brothers AutomotiveWork as a team to troubleshoot and get to the root cause of customer concernsWork closely with Service to transparently communicate customer repair optionsFollow & promote our high standards of safety, cleanliness, and shop organizationWork collaboratively and collegially to meet customer expectations and deliver extraordinary resultsComplete full, accurate and visually transparent digital vehicle inspectionsEnsure we treat every guest with our "Love Your Neighbor As Yourself" level of respect Qualifications Qualifications: 3+ years experience as an automotive technician/mechanicStrong desire of problem solvingA desire for long-term career developmentOpen to Full or Part-Time work availabilityASE Certifications preferred, or plan to achieveProficiency in Windows-based computersCurrent driver's license and driving record acceptable to our insurance carrierPhysical Requirements:Occasionally lift and/or move over 100 poundsBe able to work with tools on vehicles lifted above their headWork in tight spaces as dictated by the vehicle's needed repairHave the needed dexterity in order to efficiently use hand toolsWalk/stand for the majority of their workdayDrive manual transmissions vehiclesEfficiently navigate a computer Additional Information Christian Brothers Automotive (CBA) began in 1982 with the simple premise of providing precision auto repair with transparency, integrity and a philosophy of people first.
