At Empeon, we know that client service is the cornerstone of our success, and we are seeking a *Senior Support Specialist* to join our team, help support our mission, and together, fuel continued growth.*What You'll Do:*As a *Senior Support Specialist*, you will become a subject matter expert on the Empeon platform, providing support and assistance to our clients regarding our Payroll, Human Resources, and Time & Attendance application. You will play a crucial role in ensuring our clients' success through efficient problem-solving and exceptional customer service.*Key Responsibilities:** *Technical Expertise:* Utilize your proficiency in *C#* and *SQL* for troubleshooting and database queries to resolve client issues effectively.* *Client Support:* Handle client inquiries via our ticketing system, email, and phone, providing guidance on Payroll & HR best practices while utilizing the Empeon platform.* *Platform Assistance:* Support clients and internal teams with tasks such as profile setups, reporting, accrual setups, and payroll processing setups within Empeon.* *System Knowledge:* Stay updated on system modules and new features; conduct tests to ensure understanding of monthly releases.* *Cross-Department Collaboration:* Collaborate with internal teams such as Tax and Implementation to address client needs and improve platform functionality.* *Communication:* Coordinate with the Product, Management, and Development teams to relay client feedback and needs.* *Additional Tasks:* Assist with other business objectives as determined by management.*What You'll Need to Get the Job Done:** *Experience:* Previous experience in IT, Product Management, Development, Technical Support, or other technical roles is required.* *Technical Proficiency:* Strong *C#* and *SQL* database experience with the ability to perform queries.* *HCM Software Knowledge:* Experience with an HCM software provider is a plus, especially knowledge of *Empeon's payroll platform*.* *Troubleshooting Skills:* A solid background in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving technical issues.* *Multitasking:* Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.* *Communication Skills:* Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional, client-focused demeanor.* *Excel Proficiency:* Strong proficiency in *Microsoft Excel*, including an understanding of querying, VLOOKUPs, and data analysis.* *Certifications:* *CPP* (Certified Payroll Professional) certification is preferred but not required.*What We Offer:** Competitive salary* Flexible work schedule* Positive, respectful, and relaxed environment* Flat organizational structure"”no bureaucracy, just resultsIf you're passionate about helping clients succeed and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, we'd love to hear from you!Job Type: Full-timePay: $120,000.00 - $150,000.00 per yearWork Location: In person
