This role is ideal for candidates with 1-3 years of accounting experience and strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, formulas).Key Responsibilities:Participate in the month-end close process, including general ledger reconciliation and analysisReconcile and analyze balance sheet and P&L accountsResearch and analyze changes in GL account balances and review monthly/year-end results for management reportingPrepare and post monthly journal entries in Great PlainsAssist in the preparation of monthly management reports for the company and its divisionsCreate schedules, analyses, and reconciliations, including financial spreadsheets with pivot tablesAssist with year-end financial statement audit and periodic bank auditsHelp with accounting for prepaid and accrued expensesSupport fixed asset accountingQualifications:BA/BS in Accounting or Finance required1-3 years of accounting experienceIntermediate Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, formulas)PandoLogic.
