Experienced Rough Carpenter

Company owned and operated by a veteran carpenter so we understand what it takes to be or become a true craftsman who is passionate about quality carpentry!*Requirements:** *A Minimum of 5 years of residential carpentry experience ** Minimum of a high school education or equivalent* Valid driver's license* Presentable vehicle* All necessary personal hand and power tools* Must pass drug testing prior to being hired* *Must have your own hand tools and power tools for work everyday,*Bartelt will supply scaffolding, harnesses, tethers, generators (when needed), extra tall ladders, specialty tools and equipment, and safety equipment (i.e Tyvek suits, eye and ear protection, hard hats, shop vacuums, Hepa vacuums, etc.). as well as Atta boys & girls as necessary:)*Desired Qualities:** Proactive mindset* Efficient and able to accomplish tasks in a timely manner* Take charge and accountability* Quality- and detail-oriented in rough carpentry detail, including exterior work (i.e. siding, soffits, fascia, etc.)* Strong communication, people, and organizational skills* Team player who enjoys a laugh and a smile regularly* Open-minded and willing to teach as well as learn new skills*Compensation/Benefits:** $30 - $40 per hour, based on experience and skill level* Paid vacation* 401K* Group Health Insurance* Mileage reimbursement* Fun and collaborative work environment* Challenging type of carpentry work requiring common sense and problem solving skill set!* Tool and equipment repair/ reimbursement* Responsibilities* Read and interpret blueprints and project spec's to ensure accurate construction and carpentry work.- Develop material list from plans- Perform all types of Rough Carpentry-Collaborate with team members to organize and prioritize tasks efficiently.- Demonstrate strong organizational skills to manage project timelines effectively.- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a secure work environment.Job Type: Full-timePay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hourExpected hours: 40 per weekBenefits:* 401(k) matching* Health insurance* Health savings accountWork Location: In person
