Experienced HVAC Technician

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' experience with installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in both residential and commercial settings.*Job Duties and Responsibilities: *Install new HVAC systems following blueprints and manufacturer specifications - Test and perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure efficient operation - Diagnose and repair malfunctions in HVAC systems - Ability to advise on equipment upgrades or alternate systems -Weld and braze components when necessary - Interpret and follow schematics to troubleshoot issues - Able to service both heating and cooling units - Build and plumb refrigerant lines - Knowledge of boilers a plus - Provide emergency after hours services on a rotating schedule - Submit paperwork daily - Properly maintain company issued vehicle, tools, and electronics -Have valid driver's license and clean driving record - Maintain a safe work environment and adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations - EPA certification for refrigerants*Required Skills:*Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills - Experience using diagnostic tools - Strong math skills and mechanical aptitude - Ability to troubleshoot - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team - Keep complete and accurate records of work performed and materials used on each work order and submit daily - Communicate with customers in a professional manner*Physical Requirements:*Lifting and moving equipment up to 75lbs - Able to climb stairs and ladders to work at varied elevations including roof tops - Work in confined spaces - Able to work in varying weather conditions*Benefits Include:** Company issued vehicle and tools for service calls* Company issued cell phone* Health, Vision, and Dental* 401k* PTO* Paid Holidays* Paid sick time* On-Call bonus* Supplemental insurance available*Schedule:** 7am - 4pm, Monday - Friday* Overtime as needed* Rotating On-call ScheduleJob Type: Full-timePay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hourBenefits:* 401(k)* Company truck* Health insurance* Life insurance* Paid time off* Tools provided* Vision insuranceExperience:* HVAC : 2 years (Preferred)License/Certification:* Driver's License (Required)* EPA Certification (Preferred)Ability to Commute:* Lafayette, IN 47905 (Required)Work Location: In person
