Direct Service Professional (DSP)

This role is essential in providing support and assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities with behavioral needs, ensuring they lead fulfilling lives while promoting their independence. The ideal candidate will have experience in caregiving, patient observation, and a strong understanding of the needs of individuals in residential settings.*Available Shifts:*Mon - Fri: 2PM - 8PM (30 hours positions eligible for benefits) 2 positions availableFri, Sat, and Sun: 6AM - 2PM or 2PM - 10PM (several part-time positions over the weekend)Awake Overnights: 10PM - 6AM*Responsibilities** Provide direct support to individuals with developmental disabilities, assisting them in daily living activities (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.* Assist individuals with medication administration and maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations.* Engage individuals in social activities, promoting their social skills and community involvement.* Implement Individualized Behavioral Support plans tailored to each individual's needs, ensuring a person-centered approach.* Perform light cleaning duties to maintain a safe and hygienic living environment.*Requirements** Previous experience in care with developmentally disabled individuals with behavioral challenges is preferred.* Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable.* Strong observational skills for patient monitoring and the ability to recognize changes in behavior or health status.* Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and team members.* If you are passionate about making a difference in the lives of others and possess the skills outlined above, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding position as a Direct Support Professional.*Benefits** We pay 90% of Health Insurance and Dental Insurance.
