Our services include psychiatry, addiction recovery, and mental disorder treatment, allowing clients at all stages of recovery to reclaim health and well-being. OT options available; must be able to work rotating holidays.Shift7:00am - 3:00pm - 5 days per week, rotating weekendsResponsibilitiesInstruct and guide chemical dependency technicians in client care responsibilities and assignments.Orient new employees to unit-specific policies and procedures, providing constructive feedback and direction to students/interns.Convey accurate information in a supportive and courteous manner to unit nursing and tech staff.Seek supervision and direction from physicians; complete nursing assessments under the direction of the RN.Manage transfers, discharges, treatment plans, progress notes, medication reconciliation, and medication administration.Monitor vitals, knowledge of detox protocols, and assist medical doctors as needed.Provide medical lectures and report any unusual occurrences to the nurse supervisor/program director promptly.Ensure room assignments are appropriate to clients' needs and attend departmental staff meetings actively.Maintain medical equipment in proper working order and uphold confidentiality and proper boundaries.Participate in team building, drive continuous improvement projects, and support cooperative teamwork.Required SkillsCurrent LPN license, in good standing, in Pennsylvania.Previous experience in Substance Use Disorder treatment preferred.Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.Ability to multitask and make decisive decisions.Strong communication and teaching skills.Pyramid CORE ValuesWe are committed and proud to live our CORE values and use them to inspire those around us.
