If you love dogs and enjoy working in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting, Dogtopia is the place for you.Position OverviewAs a Canine Coach Trainer/ Operations Manager, you'll play a key leadership role in maintaining our top-tier daycare standards, guiding our back-of-house team, and ensuring that every furry guest enjoys a safe, clean, and happy environment. You'll motivate, train, and develop team members while promoting Dogtopia's core values and culture.What You'll DoLeadership & Team DevelopmentLead by example with a positive attitude and servant leadership.Motivate, train, and develop Canine Coaches and Rovers.Oversee scheduling, staffing levels, and labor management.Conduct monthly one-on-one meetings and deliver updates to the General Manager.Participate in recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding new hires.Plan and facilitate team huddles and contribute to monthly meetings.Playroom OperationsEnsure operations meet Dogtopia's highest safety and cleanliness standards.Manage playroom training, development, engagement, and activities.Oversee dog evaluations, feeding, medication, and spa services.Maintain facility cleanliness and uphold Dogtopia OSM standards.Implement and manage Behavior Modification Plans as needed.Customer ExperienceCommunicate effectively with pet parents, team members, and leadership.Embody Dogtopia's "3 S's": Smile, Story, Satisfaction.Strive for top-tier customer reviews and an amazing in-store experience.Promote Dogtopia's values:Love life unconditionally like a dog.Stay loyal to our pack.Chase the highest standards of safety.Play to our fullest potential.Treat every day like it's the most exciting day ever!Health & GroomingAssist with bathing and nail clipping as needed.Identify dog breeds and behaviors.Ensure safe, proper handling of all dogs and immediate response to incidents.What We're Looking ForCore CompetenciesConsistent, reliable attendance.Ability to recognize and manage dog behaviors.Willingness to learn and complete Dogtopia E-learning platforms.Commitment to safety as the #1 priority.Personal CharacteristicsDetail-oriented and a quick thinker.Emotionally intelligent and enthusiastic.Fun-loving, outgoing, and an excellent multitasker.Strong communicator and team player.Able to work weekends and some holidays.
