Labor and Employment Attorney

This firm is dedicated to representing employees in workplace disputes across Virginia, handling cases involving wrongful termination, workplace discrimination, wage and hour violations, and retaliation claims. With a strong reputation in employment law, the firm offers a collaborative environment where attorneys can thrive and make a meaningful impact.*Responsibilities:** Manage a caseload of plaintiff-side employment law matters, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, and wage disputes.* Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and briefs, and engage in discovery.* Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, administrative hearings, and litigation.* Provide strategic legal counsel to clients regarding their employment rights and options.* Collaborate with other attorneys and support staff to deliver excellent client service.*Qualifications:** J.D. from an accredited law school.* Active license to practice law in Virginia (required).* 2-5 years of employment law experience, preferably on the plaintiff's side.* Strong litigation, negotiation, and analytical skills.* Excellent legal writing and oral advocacy abilities.* Ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining a high level of organization and responsiveness.*Benefits:** Fully remote work environment.* Competitive salary based on experience and role.* Health, dental, and vision insurance.* 401(k) with employer contributions.*Location:* Remote (Virginia Bar Required)*Position Type*: Full-Time*Compensation:** Associate: $110,000 - $140,000* Partner: $140,000 - $200,000Valiant Search is managing the hiring process for this position.
