This position focuses on designing, optimizing, and supporting hybrid and cloud-based Microsoft productsenterprise environments"”including Microsoft 365, Azure, Exchange,Power BI and SharePoint, and related Microsoft services.This is not just a ticket-based help desk role. The agency requires advance technical expertise, proactive recommendations, break/fix support, and hands-on engineering across multiple Microsoft products and services. Candidates with relevant Microsoft certifications will be prioritized.This role may require rolling team-based shifts to support a *24/7 operational environment*.*Key Responsibilities**Microsoft Product Cloud Architecture & Engineering*Establish information system requirements for hybrid or elastic cloud-based solutions across enterprise Microsoft environments.* Work with Microsoft Architect cloud-based infrastructure and services leveraging Microsoft Azure and Cloud Service Provider (CSP) capabilities.* SupportDesign technical solutions that integrate software, hardware, network, and security components to support current and future organizational needs.* Evaluate and ensure alignment of system development efforts with agency enterprise architectures; recommend adjustments when necessary.* Support cloud migration planning, execution, and optimization efforts across Microsoft platforms.*Microsoft Product Expertise** Candidates must be proficient in one or more of following Microsoft Products.* Each Microsoft product will be evaluated independently.* Provide engineering-level support, troubleshooting, and optimization for:* *Microsoft Power BI (support, design, integrations)Microsoft Exchange* (end-user support, security, administration, custom configurations)* *Microsoft 365 / Teams* (account admin, security, customization, tenant management)* *Microsoft SharePoint* (support, workflows, forms, migration to SharePoint Online)*System Optimization & Performance** Recommend proactive improvements, performance tuning, and security enhancements across Microsoft productscloud and hybrid systems.* Ensure high availability, scalability, and resilience of Microsoft productcloud-based environments.* Assist in developing system documentation, architecture diagrams, SOPs, and technical reports.*Cross-functional Collaboration** Work closely with federal leadership and , technical SMEs to solve problems, resolve incidents, and perform system changes, and vendor teams to define system needs and develop cloud-based technical solutions.* Participate in ongoing modernization efforts aligned with agency cloud strategy.* Provide guidance and technical direction to junior engineers or support staff as needed.*Security & Compliance** Support compliance with federal security standards and agency-specific cloud security requirements.* Implement best practices as directed for identity management, access control, and data governance across Microsoft cloud services.*Required Qualifications** Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.* 7+ years of experience in cloud engineering, systems engineering, or enterprise technical roles.* Hands-on experience designing or supporting hybrid and cloud architectures (preferably Microsoft Azure).* Demonstrated experience with one or more Microsoft technologies:ExchangeM365 / TeamsSharePoint On-Prem & SharePoint Online* Strong understanding of cloud networking, end user supportvirtualization, Microsoft accountidentity management, and Microsoft modern security frameworks.* Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues spanning Microsoft products and related services cloud, network, application, and security layers.* Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance.*Preferred Qualifications** Microsoft Powe BI and 365 or Exchange/SharePoint certifications* Knowledge of Microsoft Troubleshooting techniques* Experience supporting federal environments or large enterprise systems* Experience working with end users of all experience levelsPay: From $110,000.00 per yearBenefits:* 401(k)* Dental insurance* Employee assistance program* Employee discount* Flexible spending account* Health insurance* Life insurance* Paid time off* Professional development assistance* Tuition reimbursement* Vision insuranceEducation:* Bachelor's (Preferred)Experience:* Cloud engineering: 7 years (Required)* Systems engineering: 7 years (Required)* enterprise technical role: 7 years (Required)* Federal Contracting: 5 years (Preferred)* Microsoft Technology : 7 years (Required)License/Certification:* Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate (Preferred)Work Location: Remote
