In this role, you will be the frontline problem solver, ensuring the seamless operation of our IT infrastructure and providing exceptional technical support to users across the organization. Your expertise will help maintain optimal computer performance, network stability, and security, empowering our team to work efficiently and confidently. This position offers an exciting opportunity to troubleshoot a wide range of hardware and software issues, implement solutions, and contribute to a robust IT environment that drives our business forward.*** Provide comprehensive technical support to end-users for hardware, software, operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux), and network issues.* Manage computer systems, including installation, configuration, updates, and maintenance of desktops, laptops, and peripheral devices.* Troubleshoot software problems related to Microsoft Office applications, enterprise software like BMC Remedy, ServiceNow, Jira, and other business tools.* Maintain and support computer networking infrastructure such as LAN (Local Area Network), VPN (Virtual Private Network), firewalls, switches, and routers to ensure secure and reliable connectivity.* Assist with the setup and configuration of operating systems on new devices and perform routine system updates.* Monitor IT infrastructure health using tools like Help Desk ticketing systems to prioritize and resolve issues promptly.* Support cybersecurity measures by configuring and managing firewalls, VPNs, and other security protocols to protect sensitive data.* Conduct hardware troubleshooting for computer hardware components including motherboards, hard drives, RAM, printers, and peripherals.* Document all incidents and resolutions accurately in ticketing systems such as ServiceNow or Jira for future reference and continuous improvement.* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement IT projects that enhance operational efficiency.* Communicate technical information clearly to non-technical users while maintaining a positive customer service attitude.*** Proven experience in providing IT support within a fast-paced environment is highly preferred.* Strong knowledge of operating systems including Windows (various versions), macOS, and Linux distributions.* Hands-on experience with computer networking concepts such as LAN setup, VPN configuration, firewall management, and troubleshooting network connectivity issues.* Familiarity with enterprise IT management tools like BMC Remedy, ServiceNow or Jira for incident tracking and resolution documentation.* Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot hardware components and perform software diagnostics effectively.* Excellent communication skills with a focus on delivering outstanding customer service in person or remotely.* Ability to prioritize tasks efficiently while managing multiple support requests simultaneously.* Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP), or Cisco CCNA are advantageous but not mandatory. xijylhu Join us as an IT Technician if you're passionate about technology support and eager to make a tangible impact by keeping our digital environment secure, efficient, and innovative!Job Type: ContractPay: $27.24 - $29.98 per hourWork Location: In person
