Software Engineer

Members of our staff have the opportunity to design, prototype, and produce next generation products for a diverse range of markets including environmental, medical, military, industrial, aerospace, and communications.Below covers everything you need to know about what this opportunity entails, as well as what is expected from applicants.*Specifically:** Develop and deploy custom database and client endpoint software for manufacturing data management* Gather requirements to understand end user workflow to define and implement user-friendly application interfaces* Participate in code reviews to provide critical feedback to other developers on the project* Ensure all submitted software is understandable, well documented, and maintainable* Ensure the solution adequately meets the project requirements* Follow Avo software development guidelines, including PEP-8 naming convention, PEP-257 docstring convention, and Sphinx API-style documentation* Contribute to DevOps tasks including application containerization, implementation of a CI/CD flow, and release testing automation for the application* Support the manufacturing team as production issues are encountered. Respond promptly when asked for help.
