Position SummaryThe position is responsible for the strategy and execution of national/international responder training and outreach initiatives. The position manages event coordination and logistics, grant management, and well as stakeholder engagement. The position reports directly to the Director, Training, Outreach and Partnership.Major Duties and Responsibilities: Event Coordination and Logistics:Leads planning and execution of TRANSCAER events, responder training sessions, and national initiatives aligned with program goals. Manages all aspects for training events and conferences, managing all aspects and self-prioritizing the management of multiple vendors or partner contacts simultaneously.Leads activities on-site as needed across the United States and Mexico. Travel to event locations (up to 50% of the time) to build relationships, enhance training, or ensure successful execution.Manages finances and operations for TRANSCAER and CHEMRECs outreach program to sponsors and corporate members for the U.S. and Mexico.Creates new and deepens relationships with stakeholders, including government agencies, local communities, and industry partners. Becomes the go-to relationship manager.Manages annual grant activities such as training development task groups, producing podcasts (including securing guests), webinars, training events, social media promotion, and video development.Prepares post-event reports, summarizing successes, challenges, and lessons learned. Distributes among stakeholders, and creates quarterly summaries to publicize/build support.Manages the Learning Management System (LMS) supporting ~50,000 usersQualifications, skills, and all relevant experience needed for this role can be found in the full description below.Grants Management:Prepares, submits, and tracks grant applications and reports in collaboration with accounting and legal.Gathers the necessary data and documentation for grants, ensuring compliance with all grant requirements.Monitors grant deadlines and deliverables in a central location, ensuring timely planning and execution.Tracks and record grant expenses, invoices, and receipts for assigned annual grant projects.Stakeholder Engagement:Leads the efforts of the TRANSCAER México program and serves as liaison to local agencies.Manages the TRANSCAER marketing efforts including the website and social media, in collaboration with the Web and Digital Media Manager.Drafts communications for TRANSCAER México and manages events, and meetings for the TRANSCAER México Task Group, and processes invoices for TRANSCAER México Corporate Member outreach. Serves as the liaison to TRANSCAER State Coordinators, local emergency responder agencies, railroads, and the communities being served in the United States and Mexico.Leads the planning and execution of the annual TRANSCAER Awards program, managing the protocol documentation and facilitating coordination with the Awards Committee to ensure a successful recognition process.Performs additional duties as assigned. Minimum QualificationsRequiredBachelors degree in a relevant field.Three years of relevant experience.Fluent in Spanish.Ability to travel up to 50%, including evenings/weekends.Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.Competency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other project management software. Experience with virtual meeting platforms is a plus.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.High level of attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentAbility to troubleshoot on the go and adapt quickly to changes or challenges that arise in the field.Valid drivers license and be able to travel independently to various locations.PreferredProven experience in event planning or training program coordination, in a transportation or safety-related field.Experience with grants management, including reporting, compliance, and documentation.Experience in transportation, safety, or emergency response sectors. xijylhu ACC BenefitsACC offers medical, dental, vision as well as a 401(k) matching contribution up to 6% of eligible compensation and an automatic 6% contribution of eligible compensation to the Profit-Sharing Plan, both vested immediately at 100%.
