The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal and communication skills and strong research and writing abilities. Compensation will be competitive and commensurate with experience.Margulis Gelfand is a litigation boutique based in Clayton, Missouri and has a local and national practice with litigation in state and federal courts throughout the United States.Responsibilities:- Conduct legal research using Westlaw and other legal databases- Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, pleadings, and briefs- Assist with case management and preparation for litigation- Attend court hearings and depositions as necessary- Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies- Provide legal advice and guidance to clientsRequirements:- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school- Admission to the state bar association- Strong legal research and writing skills- Experience with legal drafting and document review- Knowledge of family law and civil litigation procedures and courtroom etiquette- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to work independently and as part of a teamCompensation:-Salary commensurate with experience.
