Diesel Mechanic Technician

-Maintain and repair semi-trucks and trailers to keep our fleet running smoothlyIn order to make an application, simply read through the following job description and make sure to attach relevant documents.- Use advanced tools and techniques to diagnose and fix issues- Performing PMI inspections, welding, some field repairs and related workREQUIRED SKILLS:- Basic mechanic knowledge and hands-on repair experience- Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills- Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in tight spaces, fertilizer and some grain dust- Willingness to learnPreferred (but not required):- Technical certifications or degree in mechanics- 2+ years of experience with diesel engines, truck repair, and agriculture equipment- Welding and fabrication skills- CDL or prior trucking experience- Familiarity with shop tools-Your own set of toolsAverage schedule is 8 am - 5 pm, M -F (possibly later during busy seasons)Some weekend and after-hour service xijylhu calls (mostly seasonal)Pay based on experience and skill setJob Type: Full-timePay: $25.00 - $29.00 per hourBenefits:* 401(k)* 401(k) matching* Dental insurance* Health insurance* Life insurance* Paid time off* Retirement planWork Location: In person
