We look forward to hearing from you!Before applying for this role, please read the following information about this opportunity found below.About:The Junior Personal Injury Associate will be responsible for assisting with legal documentation, research, and analysis. They will partner with senior attorneys to prepare cases for trial.Responsibilities:Prepare, draft and file legal documents, including complaints, pleadings, motions, briefs, and appeals.Present and argue motions in court.Attend hearings with the court.Conduct legal research and analysis on case precedents and statutory laws pertinent to the personal injury claims of clients.Participate in the discovery process by drafting requests and responses, reviewing documents, and preparing materials for trial.Assist in the negotiation and settlement of claims, working to achieve the best possible outcome for the client.Communicate effectively with clients, providing updates on case progress, advice, and legal counsel.Work collaboratively with Trial Teams to prepare cases for trial, including strategy discussions and witness preparation.Attend legal seminars and workshops to continue professional development and stay updated on changes in personal injury law.Manage Service of ProcessDraft and present minor and death settlement petitions.Qualifications:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the bar in the state where the firm is located.0-2 years of experience in personal injury law or a related field.
