Associate Attorney

Palker Law Firm is searching for an entry-level attorney to help manage our growing docket.Apply below after reading through all the details and supporting information regarding this job opportunity.The duties and responsibilities for the position include, but are not limited to:* Manage all cases assigned to docket from pre-litigation negotiations to standard litigation responsibilities such as drafting, mediation, depositions, attending hearings, and trial.* Research case law to analyze precedents or similar cases.* Establish a professional rapport with all clients.* Manage all staff assigned to docket.The requirements for this position include, but are not limited to:* Active license to practice law in the state of Texas and in good standing with the State Bar of Texas.* Experience negotiating first-party insurance claims.* Familiarity with Local Rules and adept at researching Local Rules.* Excellent time management.* Excellent writing and communication skills.* Attention to detail.* Ability to work well independently as well as manage staff./_/_/_Palker Law Firm is a storm damage insurance claims law firm with offices in the Rio Grande Valley representing clients throughout Texas.
