Company InformationApply (by clicking the relevant button) after checking through all the related job information below.Jones Contractors, Inc. is a multi-regional midstream service company headquartered in Henderson, Tennessee. *The company currently has an opportunity for a motivated individual to join their company as a Line Locator based in Watford City, ND.* This position provides damage prevention services by accurately locating and marking underground lines prior to pipeline construction work.Position Description* Receiving and responding to job assignments* Accurately locating and marking the location of underground assets on roadways, private property, easements, and other locations, using required spray paints, flags, and other related equipment* Perform light excavation with hand tools to expose buried utilities when necessary* Provide map updates and facility record corrections to construction team as needed* Assist with damaged facility investigations, root cause evaluations, data gathers, and completion of required documentation related to excavation damaged* Direct Hydrovac crews* Issue Dig Authorization Permits* Other duties as assignedQualifications* Experience: Two years line locating experience strongly preferred* Effective verbal and listening skills* Time management skills* Position will initially be in North Dakota, but candidates should be aware that job assignments may require temporary relocations to other areas. Willingness to travel is required.Physical Demands* Must be able to walk 3 to 5 miles per day if necessary* Must be able to wear required PPE as assigned by Safety Director* Ability to work in extreme outdoor weatherThe BenefitsBase salary range for this position is commensurate with qualifications listed above with full benefits.
