Job DescriptionJob DescriptionJoin our team as an on-site school-based BCBA serving our district partners in the Annapolis, MD area for the upcoming school year! This is a rewarding opportunity to support K-12 students through behavior intervention strategies and collaborate with a dedicated educational team. Make a meaningful impact while enjoying a consistent school schedule and supportive work environment!Responsibilities:Conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) to identify causes of challenging behaviorsCollect and analyze behavioral data to monitor student progress and intervention effectivenessCollaborate with educators to develop IEP behavioral goals and strategiesCreate and implement individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)Provide training and professional development to teachers, paraprofessionals, and staffOffer ongoing coaching and mentoring on behavioral practices in the classroomWork directly with students to implement interventions and teach adaptive skillsFacilitate social skills groups and peer interaction trainingDevelop crisis intervention plans and provide real-time support during behavioral emergenciesQualifications:Master's degree in Behavior Analysis, Education, Psychology, or a related fieldCurrent BCBA certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)Completion of at least 2,000 supervised fieldwork hoursActive state-level licensure/certification or ability to obtain prior to startExperience working in schools or with children is requiredCome join a therapist-owned organization that values your expertise and supports you throughout the school year.
