This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse machinery including farm equipment, industrial machinery, and vehicle fleets, ensuring optimal operation and safety standards are maintained.Is this the role you are looking for If so read on for more details, and make sure to apply today.DutiesPerform diagnostics and repairs on heavy equipment such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, tractors, and trailers using schematics and technical manuals.Conduct routine maintenance including oil changes, tire service, brake repairs, suspension adjustments, and hydraulic system servicing.Fabricate parts or components as needed using welding, soldering, and hand tools to meet repair specifications.Repair and maintain diesel engines, transmissions, air brakes, HVAC systems, shocks & struts, and steering components.Utilize power tools and specialized equipment for assembly, disassembly, and repair tasks.Operate heavy machinery for testing or troubleshooting purposes while adhering to safety protocols.Maintain detailed service records and ensure all repairs meet industry standards and safety regulations.Assist with equipment installation or upgrades as required.RequirementsProven experience as a Heavy Duty Mechanic or Service Technician with dealership or industrial background preferred.Strong mechanical knowledge of heavy equipment operation including excavators, cranes, forklifts, farm machinery, and vehicle maintenance.Proficiency in reading schematics and technical manuals for diagnostics and repairs.Hands-on experience with automotive diagnostics, transmissions, hydraulics, suspension systems, air brakes, alignment procedures, HVAC systems, diesel engine repair, shocks & struts, brake repair, welding, soldering, and electrical systems.Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in various work environments.Skilled in the use of hand tools and power tools for assembly and repair tasks.Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. xijylhu Valid driver's license is required; experience operating large vehicles or equipment is a plus.
