STA Launch/Resident Engineer

Job DescriptionJob DescriptionSTA Launch/Resident EngineerAll the relevant skills, qualifications and experience that a successful applicant will need are listed in the following description. ·         Implement commodity-specific business plans to ensure your suppliers exceed all corporate launch, quality, capacity, warranty metrics, and vehicle delivery·         Lead cross-functional decisions with Client & Supplier leadership to drive resolution of open issues.·         Implement actions to ensure zero vehicle losses from suppliers·         Principal for on-site troubleshooting and corrective actions for emergency supplier situations·         Lead adherence to Client standards (i.e.Q1)·         Drive assessment & validation of manufacturing feasibility at identified supplier sites·         Execute the Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) and Advanced Quality Planning Process (APQP)·         Use available data, metrics, and business plans to drive future sourcing decisions ensuring improved future quality·         Implement commodity-specific business plans to ensure your suppliers exceed all corporate launch, quality, capacity, warranty metrics, and vehicle delivery·         Lead on-site troubleshooting and corrective actions for emergency supplier situations Skills Required:Quality Management, PPAP processes, Problem Solving, APQP Experience Required:·         Bachelor of Science/ Engineering, or equivalent technical / manufacturing aptitude Education Required:Bachelor's Degree  Company DescriptionG-TECH is a WBENC-certified, women-owned recruitment and staffing firm with over 30 years of expertise in Engineering, IT, and Professional sectors.
