Job DescriptionJob DescriptionEquipment and Fleet MechanicTo be considered for an interview, please make sure your application is full in line with the job specs as found below.Shift: Day Shift | Location: Repair ShopOverview:Seeking an experienced Equipment Repair Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and service industrial and contractor equipment, including welding machines, transformers, and small engines. Must be dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work overtime when needed.Key Responsibilities:Perform inspections, maintenance, and repairs on various equipment.Troubleshoot and repair gas/diesel engines, electrical systems, hydraulics, and aerial platforms.Complete work orders and maintain organized work area.Ensure compliance with safety and environmental policies.Work independently and as part of a team; other duties as assigned.Qualifications:High School diploma or GED (Technical school preferred).Minimum 3 years' experience repairing tools/equipment/machinery (construction equipment preferred).Knowledge of hydraulics, electrical systems, schematics, drivetrain, and engines.Ability to meet physical demands (lifting, climbing, prolonged standing).Willingness to travel occasionally and obtain required certifications (forklift, aerial platform, OSHA).Strong attention to detail, multitasking ability, and customer service skills.Must supply own repair tools; bench equipment provided.Overtime and weekend work as needed.Preferred: Miller certification; experience with mobile HVAC systems.Physical & Work Environment:Frequent lifting (up to 50 lbs), climbing, and heavy physical work.Shop setting with exposure to heat, noise, humidity, and moving parts.Use of PPE required, occasional stress due to deadlines.Resumes toDianna Adams 832.206.8434#zr TRS Staffing Solutions are an equal opportunities employer, and we welcome you to provide OFCCP data voluntarily hereCompany DescriptionOur recruiters are highly experienced in finding skilled craft professionals across construction, engineering, operations & maintenance, project services, commissioning and shutdown/outage needs.
