Work may also be performed onsite at Washington, DC; New Carrollton, MD; Ogden, UT; or Farmers Branch, TX based on project needs.Place of Performance: Rockville, MD.Travel: Position requires willingness to travel to other U.S. work locations as needed Position Overview:The Data Engineer will support data discovery, integration, and pipeline development to enable API consumption, analytics, and AI workflows.  Responsibilities:Discover and validate data sources. Build and maintain data pipelines supporting APIs. Perform data mapping and documentation. Collaborate with AI engineers on data preparation. Support data quality and validation activities.  Experience Required: "‹"‹Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of data engineering experience. Strong SQL and Python/Scala skills. Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines using Spark, Airflow, Databricks, or similar tools. Experience integrating structured and semi-structured data sources. Familiarity with data validation, lineage, and quality controls. xijylhu   Educational Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
