Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Bench Jeweler to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in jewelry repair, fabrication, stone setting, and polishing. You will work closely with our design and customer service teams to deliver high-quality craftsmanship and exceptional customer satisfaction.All the relevant skills, qualifications and experience that a successful applicant will need are listed in the following description.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform jewelry repairs including ring sizing, soldering, prong rebuilding, chain repair, and refinishingSet gemstones using prong, bezel, channel, and pavé settingsConduct polishing, cleaning, and finishing on new and repaired piecesFabricate custom jewelry components following design specificationsInspect and diagnose jewelry to determine necessary repairsEnsure proper care of tools, equipment, and workbenchMeet production deadlines while upholding quality standardsQualifications2+ years of experience as a Bench Jeweler (apprenticeship or trade school a plus)Proficiency in jewelry repair techniques and fine craftsmanshipStrong knowledge of precious metals and gemstonesAbility to work with hand tools, xijylhu torches, soldering equipment, and polishing machines, Laser machines.Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detailAbility to work independently and as part of a teamCAD experience (Rhino, Matrix, etc.) a plus but not required BenefitsCompetitive payHealth InsurancePaid time offEmployee discounts
