Job DescriptionJob DescriptionJob briefBelow, you will find a complete breakdown of everything required of potential candidates, as well as how to apply Good luck.We are looking for a Pantry Cook to join our kitchen staff and be in charge of cold food items on our menu.Pantry Cook responsibilities include preparing various hors d'oeuvres, properly seasoning all appetizers before they are served and storing food items, as needed. To be successful in this role, you should be able to handle the kitchen's fast-paced working environment, be familiar with food hygiene and be available to work during evenings and weekends.Ultimately, you will contribute to delivering a pleasant dining experience for our guests.ResponsibilitiesMake cold appetizers, including salads, desserts, vegetable, flat breads, and bruschettasGarnish dishes with spices, nuts, fruit and vegetablesPrepare vinaigrettes, dips and herb-infused oilsPerform meal-prep activities before guests arrive (like chopping vegetables, cutting fish and meat and washing fruits)Store ingredients to keep them fresh and reduce food wastageCheck food plating, temperature and portions for all cold dishesSterilize kitchen equipment at the end of your shiftMonitor stock and place orders, as neededRecommend modern recipes to renew our menu and add nutritious, creative cold dishesMaintain a clean station at all timesRequirementsWork experience as a Pantry Cook, Prep Cook or similar roleHands-on experience with professional kitchen equipmentGood knowledge of food plating techniquesUnderstanding of health and safety rules in a kitchenAbility to multitask in a fast-paced environmentTeam spiritAvailability to work in shifts, including evenings and weekendsA degree from a culinary school is a plusCompany DescriptionApplicants should possess experience in a full-service restaurant environment and demonstrate the ability to prepare food from scratch and proficiently manage all kitchen stations. xijylhu Company DescriptionApplicants should possess experience in a full-service restaurant environment and demonstrate the ability to prepare food from scratch and proficiently manage all kitchen stations.
